Physiotherapy Facility

    physiotherapy machines
  • underwater treadmills, bikes, and isolated
    units used as isolated hydrotherapy
  • Two Hydrotherapy pools (Male & Female) Section

Hydrotherapy pools, also known as aquatic therapy pools, are warm-water pools designed for rehabilitation and exercise.

They differ from typical swimming pools by having warmer water (typically 32-36°C) and built-in features like jets or water currents for massage and exercise. These pools offer therapeutic benefits for various conditions, such as muscle pain, joint pain, and improving overall physical and mental well-being.

Key Features and Benefits:

  • Buoyancy

The buoyancy of water reduces stress on the joints and allows easier movement and exercise, making it beneficial for individuals with mobility issues.
  • Muscle Relaxation

The warm water and gentle movements in the pool can help soothe aching muscles and relieve pain.
  • Reduced Pressure

Water reduces the weight-bearing on joints, making it easier for individuals with arthritis or other joint conditions to exercise.
  • Increased Circulation

The water temperature and gentle movements can improve circulation.
  • Improved Breathing

Resistance of the water can help strengthen breathing muscles and improve respiratory function.
  • Mental Benefits

The relaxing environment of the pool can also improve mood and reduce anxiety.
  • Rehabilitation

Hydrotherapy pools are often used for rehabilitation after injuries or surgeries, helping individuals regain strength, range of motion, and mobility.
  • Variety of Features

Some pools have features like jets, currents, or adjustable depths to cater to different needs and exercises.
